Our story
Built around fewer, better pairs
STRIDE began with a simple belief — that you need fewer shoes than the market suggests, but every pair should earn its place. We work in small runs, with makers we trust, and let the last do the talking.
We started by wear-testing samples on real feet, over real miles, sending them back until the fit and the tread were right. That habit stayed with us: nothing ships until it wears the way we would want it to wear ourselves. It means fewer styles each season, but it also means the boots you buy this autumn are ones you will still be lacing up years from now.
Our materials do the quiet work. Full-grain leather that softens instead of cracking, brushed suede that comes back to new, and cushioned soles that hold their bounce. We name our makers because we know them, and we keep our runs short so nothing ends up on a markdown rail.
